The Largest Seed in the World

Can we talk about this?
What do you think it is?
Yeah, I got it right away, too.
A coco de mer seed.
A female one. Obviously, Professor Obvious.

The coco de mer is a special seed, as you can plainly see. It is also the largest seed in the world, and it grows in one place (thankfully, because can you picture a world with these everywhere?): the Seychelles, a group of islands off the east coast of Africa. French. Mais oui.

This will never make the cut to be a necklace at Janet Mavec, as much as we do love seeing the world’s curiosities and representing them. This one is too hot for our palate.
